The Indian cricket team performed brilliantly in the 1st Test match of the 4 match Test series in Nagpur to win the match by an innings and 132 runs.
It was an interesting match where we truly saw two different teams playing in the match. There was huge difference between two team’s batting performance.
Batting first, the Australian team could only score 177 runs. Every batter failed for the Aussies. However, it was a complete different story when the Indian team came to bat.
Rohit Sharma scored a century while opening. Meanwhile the Indian lower order consisting of Jadeja, Axar Patel and Shami ensured Team India still reaches 400 runs after the middle-order failed.
In the 2nd inning, Australia’s batting order performed even worse. The Aussies were bowled out for just 91 runs with Ashwin taking a five wicket haul as India won the match by an innings and 132 runs.
Meanwhile after the match ended, there is a video that is going viral on social media where India captain Rohit Sharma is seen asking the production crew to show the DRS replay instead of his face. You can watch the video below.
