The T20 World Cup 2022 semi-finals is just less than 24 hours away as the first of the 2 semi-finals will be held on the 9th of November at 1:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) between New Zealand and Pakistan.
New Zealand topped their group ahead of England while India topped the other group ahead of Pakistan. As such, New Zealand is facing off Pakistan while India is facing off England the following day on the 10th of November with the grand finale on the 13th of November.
Meanwhile, before the semi-final matches begins tomorrow, the ICC has made their rules clear as to which teams will make it to the final if the semi-final matches gets washed out.
It is no rare as there has several matches which had to be cut short or abandoned due to rain in this T20 World Cup. As such, ICC is already taking a precaution. It has been confirmed if any of the semi-final matches gets washed out, then the group topper will advance to the semi-final, in this case it will be New Zealand and India.
If the Final got abandoned due to rain. Then India will be the champions
