“This was the perfect pitch for KL Rahul to play Tuk-Tuk cricket and he won’t have to give excuses” – Twitter reacts as there were not a single Six scored in the 2nd T20I

The Indian cricket team registered a simple but not so easy win in the 2nd T20I match against New Zealand cricket team at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana stadium in Lucknow.

The pitch was no way a T20 cricket pitch as both the teams struggled against each other’s bowling and found it difficult to score runs on the pitch.

It was New Zealand who batted first, but they could only score 98 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs, setting team India a 99 runs target in a must win match.

For India, Suryakumar Yadav ensured the victory as he scored 26 runs from 31 balls. With that win, India have now equalled the series 1-1 before the 3rd and the final match of the series.

While scoring runs was a difficult ask, you would be surprised to know that including both the innings, both the teams failed to hit a single Six in the match.

This is probably the first time this happened and the Twitterati cannot stop buzzing about that.
