It needed less than an hour for Team India to win the 1st match of the 2 match Test series against the hosts Bangladesh.
Bangladesh resumed their inning from their overnight score and looked to either take the match towards a draw or a win if possible, however they had only 4 wickets remaining.
But it didn’t go to plan for Bangladesh. Mohammed Siraj dismissed Mehidy Hasan early on. Kuldeep Yadav struck Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan and Ebadot Hossain in his 2 overs and Axar Patel got the last scalp to hand India a 188 runs win.
