The 1st ODI between India and Bangladesh cricket team ended in quite the fashion as the Bangla Tigers won the match by just 1 wickets with a partnership of 51 runs between Mehidy Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman.
Batting first in the match, the Indian were terrible and could only score 186 runs with KL Rahul scoring the most, 73 runs from 70 balls.
In the last couple of weeks, many people have criticised KL Rahul for his performance recently. However, he did impressed in the match against Bangladesh while coming in at number 5 in the batting order.
Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant also out of the series, KL Rahul was the wicketkeeper for India. While Rahul garnered praise for his performance with the bat, he received criticism after he dropped an easy catch that could have won the match for India.
A recent stat show that KL Rahul has been great batting at number 5 in the ODIs, however, his fielding errors has once again ignited fire among the fans.
KL Rahul has 58.44 average & 113.6 strike rate in ODI while batting at 5.

Good but he needs to keep wckts to stay in the team … his big match temperament is a issue … not the strike rate or avg . Playing against weaker teams will take care of averages and strike rates

Rahul as a batter is superb. Only thing is that, he fails to perform during pressure matches. Hence people tend to forget about his calibre. Eg: 2019 ODI World Cup Semi-final.

Only to bottle up when pressure is at its peak, like yesterday. Saying it again he can’t handle pressure and we have seen it already

He is a man who top scores in pre-board and monthly test and fails in the final exams. So even with a record equivalent to Don is immaterial, when it comes to KL. https://t.co/eoUuHxKApC
