We take you back today to the year 2015, it was the occasion of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, and the match was, the biggest of them all, India vs Pakistan. A little altercation between India batsman Virat Kohli and Pakistan’s Sohail Khan.
All of whom who watched that match between Indian cricket team and the Pakistan cricket team at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide, very much remember that both Virat and Sohail some words.
But till date, there was no information as to what really happened. Well guess what, Sohail Khan has finally spoken on the topic.
Speaking on at a show, Sohail Khan stated, “Virat Kohli came to me and told me I talk too much despite being a newcomer to the team. I told him ‘son, when you were playing for India U19, I was playing Test cricket for Pakistan’ (beta jab tu U19 khelta tha, tera baap Test cricketer tha). I have been playing Tests for Pakistan since 2006, and then I got injured.”
Note that, Sohail Khan had a good match with the ball, taking a 5 wicket haul in the match. However, the altercation started Sohail came to bat during Pakistan’s inning, who eventually lost the match by 76 runs, while Kohli scored a century in that match.
Meanwhile, following Sohail Khan, Twitter is making fun of the former Pakistan pacer on social media.
