Match number 51 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is being played today between the hosts Gujarat Titans and the visiting team Lucknow Super Giants.
It was Lucknow’s captain Krunal Pandya who won the toss against his brother Hardik Pandya. However, things didn’t look good for Lucknow as Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill’s brilliant innings have taken Gujarat to a big 227 runs total.
Wriddhiman Saha gave a attacking start to his team as he scored his fifty in the powerplay itself. He went on to score 81 runs in 43 balls. Meanwhile Shubman Gill, who started the show slowly, accelerated in the later half and remained not out on 94 runs, missing out on a century by just 6 runs.
Captain Hardik Pandy and David Miller also contributed with decent innings as Gujarat reached 227 runs in their bid to officially confirm qualification for IPL 2023 Playoffs.

94* in just 51 balls with 2 fours and 7 sixes. Madness from Gill today, he was on fire. A fantastic innings, take a bow Gill. pic.twitter.com/IpenLKMN4V
