Indian opening batsman Shubman Gill scored a brilliant century in the 1st of the 2 match Test series as Team India look all set and comfortable to win the match against the Bangla Tigers.
Team India scored 404 runs in the first inning while Bangladesh scored 150 runs. India scored another brilliant 258 runs in the 2nd inning.
A massive chunk of the 2nd inning total for Team India came from opening batsman Shubman Gill. And now with captain Rohit Sharma set for his return for the 2nd Test and KL Rahul’s poor form, fans are now demanding Gill and Rohit should open the inning while KL must sit out.
Now imagine, Shubman Gill may have to sit out of the next Test after scoring this century, if and when Rohit Sharma returns.
