Former Pakistan cricket team’s top pace bowler Shoaib Akhtar is known as one of the most deadliest pace bowler of his generation and gave nightmare to a number of world class batsman.
Akhtar made his International debut with the most difficult format of the game as he made Test debut against West Indies in 1997. He made his ODI debut the next year as well and played for the Pakistan team till 2011 with his last ODI match and his last Test match was in 2010.
As a pace bowler, it always a difficult task to yourself fit all the time and that’s the same issue that Shoaib Akhtar faced, who could consistently bowl at 155 KMPH.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Akhtar revealed that had he stayed fit, he could have been the greatest player in the world. Meanwhile, many mocked Shoaib for praising himself and some did agree with him.
