Indian cricket team batsman Rishabh Pant has been the talk of the town most recently for his failure to score runs to match the expectation in the white ball format of the game.
After MS Dhoni’s retirement, Rishabh Pant has been Team India’s number 1 wicketkeeper batsman option. However, even though he has a good track record in red ball cricket, Pant is finding it difficult to set his feet in white ball format of the game and as such has received a lot of criticism from all around.
The Indian batter is currently with the Indian team in New Zealand playing in the ODI series against the home team and Pant’s performance has been not upto the match. He scored only 15 runs in the 1st ODI and 10 runs in the 3rd ODI while the 2nd match was washed-out due to rain.
Meanwhile, a video clip is currently doing rounds on social media in which Rishabh Pant was asked about his form in the white ball format. Pant said in response to that his record in white ball format is not bad.
He further added that comparison is not part of his life and added that he is only just 25-years-old and people should compare only after he is passed 32 or 34 years age. However, that didn’t bode well with the fans and they raised question on the wicketkeeper batter’s mindset while many called it arrogance.

Virat Kolhi was already one of the best batsmen in the world by the time he was 22.

This attitude isn’t one of a successful sports man. It’s time to replace this fraud with Sanju Samson. https://t.co/wj8YGAbLXL pic.twitter.com/iwcxmgBAbW
