Batting first, after losing the toss, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) scored _ runs. After a long time, KKR opening pair of Jason Roy and Narayan Jagadeeshan did well for the team.
While Jason Roy scored 56 runs, Jagadeeshan scored 27 runs. Then captain Nitish Rana played a good inning. However, the team was struggling to score runs in the middle-overs but Nitish Rana gave a proper acceleration as he scored 48 runs while Venkatesh Iyer scored 31 runs.
But then, still 200 was not looking possible until Rinku Singh and David Wiese did some explosive batting towards the end. While the latter scored 12 runs, Rinku scored 18 runs as it finally helped KKR post 200 runs on the board. See how Twitterati reacted.
