The Indian cricket team’s tour of Bangladesh is likely to end today. This will be the last time that Team India will play cricket in 2022.
The year 2023 will start for Team India with a home series against Sri Lanka, starting from the 3rd of January. It will be a 3 match ODI series and a 3 match T20I series beginning with the latter.
Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to name the selection committee after the previous commitee was fired after the T20 World Cup 2022. And now, if reports are to believed, the committee that was fired is also likely to select the Indian squad for the Sri Lanka series as well.
