The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have recorded an interesting in what was one of the most ugliest game in the IPL 2023 as the Faf du Plessis led side beats hosts Lucknow Super Giants.
Batting first at the Ekana Stadium, the Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 126 runs on a pitch which had nothing for the batters, or maybe nothing for cricket at all.
Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli were the top scorers for the Bangalore side. Chasing the target, it was Kyle Mayers and Ayush Badoni who opened the inning with captain KL Rahul having got injured while fielding.
Just like RCB’s inning, there was nothing for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) batters either. Their top scorer today was Krishnappa Gowtham, who scored 23 runs as LSG could only score 108 runs and were all out with 1 ball remaining.
With that, RCB also gets the revenge on Lucknow Super Giants by beating them at their home ground after they did the same to RCB earlier this season. See how Twitterati reacted.
