240 runs or more is any day a good total to defend in a T20 cricket match. But the same can’t be said for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 team Peshawar Zalmi.
The Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam led Peshawar Zalmi slipped to their back-to-back defeat in 2 matches despite scoring more than 240 runs.
The team failed to defend 240 runs in the match against Quetta Gladiators where Jason Roy’s record 145 runs helped Quetta won the match.
In the match against Multan Sultans, the team once again posted a target of 243 runs, this time Rilee Rossouw scored the pasted PSL Century to help his team chase down the target. Checkout how Twitterati reacted after Peshawar Zalmi failed to defend more than 240 runs target in 2 back-to-back matches.
