The Pakistan Cricket Board have announced again that if the Asia Cup 2023 is not held in Pakistan, the Pakistan cricket team may opt to skip the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, which is scheduled to be held in India.
The country has a long history of cricket, and the national team is regarded as one of the best in the world, so this decision has created quite a stir in the cricketing world.
The action is motivated by political tensions between India and Pakistan, which have resulted in the suspended of cricketing relationship among the two nations. The BCCI is extremely worried about the safeness of its players and the security of the team if the Asia Cup 2023 is to be held in Pakistan.
If indeed the Asia Cup 2023 is not held in Pakistan, PCB has once again reiterate that Pakistan cricket team will almost certainly miss the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in India.
When Ramiz Raja was a part of the PCB, he made a similar statement. In a latest Asian Cricket Council meeting, it has been decided that the tournament may be shifted to UAE.
After this news, PCB has once again said that they will skip the World Cup if Asia Cup is moved from Pakistan.
PCB is thinking of not travelling to India for World Cup 2023 if Asia Cup's venue is changed. (Reported by ANI).

Hope they don't participate. South Africa, Ireland, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe should all play the World Cup https://t.co/FB7k36uPEo
