“Don’t cry over no ball” – Twitter reacts to No Ball controversy during thriller India vs Pakistan match in T20 World Cup 2022

India vs Pakistan is one of the biggest cricket rivalry in the world and it always provides with some exciting matches, and so was the case when India and Pakistan in faced off in a match that was decided in the very last ball.

There were already a big hype of the India vs Pakistan match in the T20 World Cup 2022, especially after the big defeat that the Indian team had to face against Pakistan in last year’s edition.

Batting first, with an inning filled of ups and down, Pakistan posted 159 runs on the board. Chasing that target, India lost its 4 wickets very early on.

Then came a masterpiece from Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya. The duo combined to help India in the match, and took it to a stage when the match at an interesting stage from almost losing the match.

However, Hardik Pandya lost his wicket in the 1st ball of the last over and it huge tension. There came a moment in the match when India needed 13 runs from 3 balls and then bowler Nawaz bowled a full toss that above Kohli’s waist height and was called no ball while Virat hot it for a 6.

On the free hit ball, Kohli failed to hit for big and instead the ball hit the stumps, however, it being a no ball meant that Kohli was safe. However, after the ball hit stumps, it went faraway and allowed Virat Kohli to take 3 runs on that ball.

That no ball was also the turning point of the match. Pakistan players protested the decision, however it stood.
