The inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL), an women’s equavalent of the world famous Indian Premier League (IPL) to boost the Indian women’s cricket team.
The inaugural edition began today on the 4th of March and it is being played between Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians. Batting first in the match, Mumbai Indians have scored 207 runs in 20 overs.
Mumbai Indians posted 207 for 5 from 20 overs, led by Harmanpreet Kaur show 65(30) & well supported by Hayley & Kerr.
