Match number 17 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 si currently going on in Rawalpindi’s Pindi Club Ground stadium where Babar Azam led Peshawar Zalmi is facing off Mohammad Amir’s Karachi Kings.
After winning the toss, Karachi Kings captain Imad Wasim opted to bowl first. But the Zalmi’s scored 197 runs in 20 overs with Rovman Powell scoring 64 runs from 34 balls. Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Haseebullah Khan also scored fifty each.
For Karachi, pacer Mohammad Amir was influential. He took 4 wickets for 26 runs in 4 overs that also included the wicket of former Karachi Kings captain Babar Azam for the score of a big duck.
After Amir dismissed Babar Azam, people on Twitter remembered how Mohammad Amir had said before the PSL that bowling to Babar Azam is like bowling to a tailender for him.
