The 2nd match of the 3 match One Day International (ODI) series is currently going on at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
It was Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka won the toss and opted to bat first. However, they lost their first wicket for 29 runs in 6 overs.
The Sri Lankan team tried their best to form a partnership, but Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who made his return to the team in place of Yuzvendra Chahal, didn’t gave any chances to the Lankan players to settle.
Kuldeep picked-up 3 wickets in the match and gave only 51 runs in 10 overs. Sri Lanka meanwhile could only post 215 run on the board and India needs 216 runs to win the series.
Meanwhile, it has been the story for Kuldeep. Despite good performance, he is dropped from the team to accommodate Yuzvendra Chahal or someone as such the Twitterati feels bad for him.
