After winning the toss, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Nitish Rana opted to bat. However, after Rahmanullah Gurbaz departed in the 2nd over, Venkatesh Iyer followed him soon after.
Jason Roy, who was playing well, he also departed after scoring 20 runs. Captain Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh rebuilt the inning well.
Nitish Rana departed in the 12th over after scoring 42 runs. Andre Russell showed some great flare as the batter scored 24 runs in 15 balls. Soon after, Narine also departed cheaply.
After that KKR lacked a good finishing touch as they failed to utilise the death overs and crumbled under pressure. In the last over, Natarajan just gave 3 runs as KKR could only score 171 runs.
Dissolve yourself KKR 🤬🤬🤬

When ur strength is spin, why can't u name Suyash Sharma in the playing XI over a fast bowler? Such a shame that Suyash won't bowl tonight. Don't know how can #kKR keep making this silly mistakes again and again #SRHvKKR

0,W,W,0,1,2 – just 3 runs conceded in the final over and picked the wicket of Rinku Singh. What a performance by Nattu! pic.twitter.com/5hxtauliPV
The dangerous opening pair of Gurbaz and Roy scored 20 off 20 balls and got good support from V Iyer to utilise powerplay at max🔥🔥
