There is always a comparison between of the best T20 cricket leagues that are played and hosted by two of the arch-rival cricket nations in the world, India’s Indian Premier League (IPL) and Pakistan’s Pakistan Super League (PSL).
It was the inception of the Indian Premier League (IPL) back in the year 2008 that brought in a revolution in terms of the growth of the Indian cricket team and the fan base.
Following suit, many other countries opted to organise their own version of a T20 league like the IPL, and that’s how the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was born.
The PSL have had the services of some of the really talented players of the game. And one of them is England’s Harry Brook, who is touted as one of the biggest upcoming talent. He started his franchise league career in the PSL and made a name for himself.
He made his debut for the Indian team because of his performance and was eventually picked for a hefty sum in the IPL 2023 Auction by the Sunrisers Hyderabad. And now that there is only about 2 weeks left for the IPL 2023 to start, Harry Brook recently told ESPNcricinfo that IPL is the better franchise league in the world among all other franchise cricket leagues. See how Twitterati reacted after his statement from a player whom Pakistani people call a product of the PSL.
