Major questions being raised on the Indian cricket team’s team management for their decision making, such as not involving the likes of Shubman Gill, Sanju Samson and Umran Malik in the Playing XI.
Team India went into the 3rd T20I match against New Zealand with fans hoping that players like Shubman Gill, Sanju Samson, Umran Malik, Kuldeep Yadav would get opportunity to play, however, team India introduced only 1 change that saw Harshal Patel came in for Washington Sundar.
Twitterati raised question on the team selection. And now finally stand-in captain Hardik Pandya has opened-up on the matter.
Hardik said after the match it is some strategical decision that is not going the youngsters’ way. However, the fans are not pleased with the explanation and is still not happy with how the Indian T20 team functions.
Hardik Pandya said "My doors are always open to come & chat with me – I understand their feelings & always want to keep a healthy atmosphere, Sanju Samson is an unfortunate case, for strategic reason, we couldn't play him".

What's this strategy? Failing at TOP ? Rahul Rohit did that and these two continued the legacy this series . Pandya's afraid he might break this .

What an amazing strategy to keep playing an under performer and leave out the deserving ones

This was not really an important series, especially with 1-0, Samson could have been given a chance. Not sure what the "strategic reason" was, Iyer still being considered for T20 makes no sense to me.
