The Indian cricket team lost the match by 21 runs against the New Zealand cricket team. Batting first, New Zealand put on 176 runs on the board while the Indian team could only score 155 runs in the 20 overs.
After the defeat, the Indian captain Hardik Pandya told the media that they gave 25 runs more than the par score as the big reason behind the defeat.
