Meanwhile, after the match, India captain Hardik Pandya blamed Arshdeep Singh for his 5 no balls in the match. However, the Twitterati believes that Hardik shouldn’t have been this harsh on him.
Hardik Pandya said, "going for runs is fine, but no balls aren't. Not blaming, but Arshdeep Singh needs to go back and make sure these basic errors don't happen at this level".

This is the reason why any player shouldn't be given Captaincy, instead of backing players for one bad day he's shaming him in front of the whole nation , My respect for Rohit increased after hearing this , Hardik should improve his attitude or should be removed from captaincy

Shows how poor a captain Hardik is, should've addressed this personally in dressing room rather than babbling in media.

If such is the case , then why no words for back to back failures of his GT team member Shubhman Gill ??
Man forgot that Arshdeep was one of the reasons that we went that far in the World Cup.

Just 1 loss n the true colour of #HardikPandya is out.Can he himself count on except for 1-2 matches what has been his contribution till date to be made as a captain. This is just below the belt statement to blame an emerging player infront of whole media.#INDvsSL #ArshdeepSingh

Don't call out names in interview https://t.co/FVe3z72T4t
“Not blaming” but actually does blame a youngster in public and calls it “a crime”.

A fan of Hardik Pandya and his captaincy style in general, but maybe he should remember his own history with overstepping & how it cost India a World Cup semi-final… #INDvSL https://t.co/WZwsBorZ8B pic.twitter.com/lVM1xNWsdy
He directly and publicly pinned the blame on a youngster. Should have avoided that since captains are meant to back their team mates. https://t.co/mLkuqHnuqi
