The Indian cricket team’s batsman Suryakumar Yadav is currently one of the most decorated player in the country. His brilliance in the T20 format has been nothing short of madness.
After a really successful year 2022, Suryakumar Yadav continued his brilliance in the format in the ongoing series against Sri Lanka.
He scored a scintillating century in the 3rd and the final match of the T20I series, the decider after both the teams had won 1 match each before coming into the 3rd T20I in Rajkot.
Surya gave Team India a great platform in the match as he went on to score 112 runs in just 51 balls to help India post 228 runs on the board in 20 overs. Meanwhile India won the match by 91 runs.
After India’s win, former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has stated that Suryakumar Yadav should also play Test cricket for India, however the fans think Surya should only focus on white ball cricket.
Gautam Gambhir said, “we will love to see Suryakumar Yadav in Test cricket as well”.
