Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam has been struggling with his performance recently, whether it is for the Pakistan cricket team or for the Peshawar Zalmi team in the PSL 2023.

Babar has always been under the radar for his performance in the T20 format of the game. Despite scoring runs, Babar Azam has failed to maintain a good strike rate that is must to have a successful T20 career.

His performance in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 has been average only. He switched from the Karachi to Peshawar after Karachi let him for his poor record with the team.

Today, his team took on the league leaders Lahore Qalandars in the match number 23rd of the PSL 2023. Batting first, Peshawar Zalmi scored 207 runs. Babar Azam scored a fifty, however, his inning lasted 41 balls with a strike rate of 121.

After his performance, his fans on social media were calling it a good inning and termed it as King is Back. However, some part of the were absolutely disappointed with them as they felt that a young Saim Ayub had a more impactful inning than Babar. Saim scored 68 runs in 36 balls with a strike rate of 188.

In the end Peshawar Zalmi won the match, however the fans were not happy with a part of fans who were praising Babar Azam for scoring 50 runs in 41 balls.
