“He should be back doing commentary again” – Twitter reacts as Dinesh Karthik joins Rohit Sharma to become joint-top batter with most ducks in IPL history

During the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur on Sunday, Dinesh Karthik from Royal Challengers Bangalore was dismissed for a duck for the 16th time in the Indian Premier League.

He was given out LBW for zero runs. Initially, the umpire declared him not out after leg spinner Adam Zampa appealed for his dismissal, but Rajasthan Royals went for a review which showed that the ball would have hit the stumps.

This dismissal has put Dinesh Karthik on par with Rohit Sharma for the highest number of ducks in the tournament. Rohit Sharma had also suffered his 16th duck earlier in the season against Chennai Super Kings while leading Mumbai Indians.
