Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have once again booked their ticket to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 Final after getting the better of Gujarat Titans in the Qualifier 1 of the tournament.
Riding on both Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway’s brilliant 60 and 40 runs respectively and a good inning down the order from Ravindra Jadeja helped Chennai Super Kings post 172 runs on the board.
Chasing the target, Gujarat Titans batters failed to play a big inning except for Shubman Gill, who scored 42 runs and and kept Gujarat in the lead in the match. But after he was dismissed, CSK made a comeback in the match.
The whole scenario changed again as Vijay Shankar and Rashid Khan played some fabulous shots. But then Ruturaj Gaikwad took a brilliant catch to dismiss Shankar while Rashid Khan got out in the next over.
In the end, Chennai Super Kings got Gujarat Titans all out for 157 runs and won the match by 15 runs to enter their 10th IPL Final. See how Twitterati reacted.
