There is still some little more than one month left for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 edition to commence that will be played from the 31st of March, but before that, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have received a major setback.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season will officially kick-off from the 31st of March with Gujarat Titans hosting the Chennai Super Kings in Ahmedabad from 7:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST).
But before all the IPL drama has begun, the CSK franchise has received a massive setback. According to reports, the current England cricket team Test captain and CSK all-rounder Ben Stokes may leave the team early because of national duty.
The England cricket team will play Ireland from the 1st of June while the big Ashes series vs Australia will begin from the 16th of June. And to get himself prepared, it is likely that Stokes will leave the team before the playoffs.
