The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday officially announced the Indian cricket team’s squad for the remaining 2 matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and the 3 match ODI series that is to follow after the Test series.
The Indian cricket team have taken a 2-0 lead in the ongoing 4 match Border-Gavaskar Trophy after winning the first 2 matches in the Nagpur and Delhi.
There is still 2 matches remaining in the series and after that, Team India will take on Australia in limited overs format in a 3 match ODI series beginning from the 17th of March.
The Test squad for the remaining 2 matches is same as the first 2 matches. While in the ODI squad, the team also looks like a settled team as India prepares for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
However, despite the poor run of form that the Indian batter KL Rahul is going through, the Indian fans are disappointed that Sanju Samson was not included in the team despite all that.
