Babar Azam, known as one of the best to have ever come out of the Pakistan cricket factory, is one of the best batter of the current generation and a great leader as well.
Babar Azam is leading the Pakistan team really well in the international cricket. Other than his brilliant captaincy, Babar Azam has also excelled with the bat as well, scoring hundreds of runs despite having a captain burden on his shoulder.
Babar is regarded as one of the best in the world and is being compared with some of the best of the game, such as Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Joe Root and Kane Williamson.
Babar is also playing and the leading the Peshawar Zalmi team in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023. He started his PSL career with the Islamabad United in 2016 but moved to Karachi Kings on 2017 and became a start player there.
He was also named their captain in the 2020 season. But, before the 2023 season, he moved from Karachi to the Peshawar Zalmi side and is also leading the team.
Azam, who is regarded as a great captain, have not been able to replicate his national team captaincy record in the PSL though. As of 27th February 2023, Babar has led a PSL side in 16 occasions and surprisingly, he has only won 3 matches as captain, two of them came in 2023 itself.
