“Looks like a 2 day Test match is loading” – Twitter reacts as Australian spinners’ near 15 degree spin stun Indian top-order as India lost 5 wickets in first hour

Despite starting off greatly against the Australian cricket team’s pace bowling by the opening duo of Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma, the Australian spin bowlers have ripped apart the Indian batting unit in the first couple of minutes of the match.

Both the Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill gave the Indian team a cracking start to the match as both scored 27 runs in 6 overs but lost the wicket of Rohit Sharma in the last ball of the 6th over when he was trying to hit a lofted shot.

What followed after that was a horror for the Indian team. The Aussie spinners were getting somewhat 15 degree turn on the pitch that saw them get the better of Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja and Shreyas Iyer, who was unlucky as the ball stayed low and took an inside edge and hit the stumps, in the first hour or so.

Meanwhile Cheteshwar Pujara’s dismissal was one for the ages as the ball turned so much so that Pujara no clue about that. But then there on onwards, the brilliance from Virat Kohli and Srikar Bharat rescued the Indian team from once being 5 wickets down for 45 runs.

As of writing this, Team India have posted 70 runs on the board with Virat Kohli and Srikar Bharat still in the crease. See how the Twitterati reacted to the massive spin in Indore.
