The fans have been granted their long wish as after a long draught, Virat Kohli has finally scored his 71st International century in the Asia Cup 2022 match against Afghanistan.
While Team India is already out of the running for final to reach the Asia Cup 2022, it was a matter of pride for Team India. It is KL Rahul surprisingly who is leading the team in the match as Rohit Sharma has decided to rest for match.
Opening the match, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli added a 100 runs partnership before the former was dismissed for 62 runs but former India captain Virat Kohli kept on going.
The whole cricket fraternity was flattered with his performance as he scored his first T20I century after his huge run of poor form is now done and dusted.
Virat Kohli deserves this century – toiled himself in the last 3 years for this 71st century. What a player!

We have just seen the Virat Kohli of old. Everything that didn’t seem to be present in his batting is definitely back. A quality knock by the Champion batsman.
