“They always blame IPL for everything” – Twitter reacts as Michael Clarke says “he would be ready to play IPL anytime” after Moeen Ali complained of congested schedule after T20WC 2022

The 2022 T20 World Champions will be back in action in less than 24 hours from now as they are set to take on the hosts Australia in the 3 match ODI series beginning tomorrow in Adelaide.

However, some of the England players have raised questions regarding the schedule of the of the series, especially the first, which is just after 4 days after the England won the T20 World Cup 2022 beating Pakistan in the final.

Particularly England team’s all-rounder Moeen Ali raised question regarding the schedule for the series. Moeen said that the scheduling of the series is horrible and that it is a shame that England team didn’t get to celebrate properly. Note that, after winning the T20 World Cup, England have remained in Australia for the 3 match ODI series.

Meanwhile, after Moeen Ali’s remarks, former Aussie skipper Michael Clarke has slammed the England all-rounder. He also included IPL in his statement.

Clarke said, “If it was playing in the T20 World Cup and then the next day get on a plane to depart for the IPL, I don’t think you’d hear anybody whinge.”

However, after Clarke’s remarks, there has been a mixed reaction from the fans, while supported the former Aussie World Cup winning captain, some even opposed it.
