The rescheduled 5th Test match from Indian cricket team and the England cricket team was played from the 1st July till 5th July in Birmingham’s Edgbaston ground.

However, Team India started to lose its control from the match in their 2nd inning, when once again the team faced a batting disaster. Pujara and Pant both scored over fifty runs but couldn’t convert that into a big score. At the end, India could only manage 245 runs in their 2nd inning, setting a target of just 378 runs with a day and a half’s play.

India still managed to damage England, taking 3 wickets by the end of day 4’s play. However, centuries from both Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root saw England over the line.

After the win for England that saw them draw the series 2-2, their official Twitter handle made a post mocking Virat Kohli after his and Bairstow’s altercation on the pitch during England’s 1st inning.
