"Suryakumar is beyond Science"- Twitter erupts after Suryakumar Yadav scored a spectacular hundred vs GT at Wankhede Stadium

The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League has seen some incredible performances so far. On Friday, in the 57th game of the season, the Mumbai Indians took on the defending champion Gujarat Titans at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. It started with GT winning the toss and deciding to ball first.

But the decision totally backfired on them, as MI went on to score yet another mammoth total on the board. It was largely due to the courtesy of Suryakumar Yadav, who went on to score his maiden T20 hundred.

The 32-year-old played one of the best innings in the history of the Indian Premier League. He almost single-handedly took MI over the 200-run target. Suryakumar scored an unbeaten 103 off just 49 balls, including 11 boundaries and six maximums. As a result, MI ended up with a score of 218/5 in the first inning.

Suryakumar played shots all around the ground. MI started well with a 61-run partnership for the first wicket in 6.1 overs. Rohit Sharma scored 29 off 18, and Ishan Kishan made a 20-ball 31. The first wicket brought Suryakumar to the crease.

After that, it was all SKY all over the ground. He didn’t spare any of the bowlers and scored boundaries even on good balls. It was the first ever IPL century for the MI star. He completed it with a six on the last ball of the 20th over.

He added an important partnership of 65 runs for the fourth wicket with Vishnu Vinod (30 off 20). Rashid Khan was the pick of the bowlers for the defending champion; he ended up taking four wickets for just 30 runs in his spell. Fans were also thrilled after watching Suryakumar smash the bowler into all parts of the ground. So let’s check how Twitter reacted to the spectacular hundred from the 32-year-old.
