A run of poor form means that he could be dropped in future games.
At the moment, Hanuma Vihari is being tipped as the player to take up Pujara’s spot. The likes of Priyank Panchal could also get an opportunity. However, Boria Majumdar had another idea.

Boria Majumdar backed his suggestion of Rohit Sharma with solid facts. He stated that Rohit possesses skill, class and temperament in the No.3 role. Rohit is currently an opener and Boria said that KL Rahul and Shubman Gill can do the job at the top. While it is not sure if Team India would go ahead with this, the option is surely an interesting one to consider.
