The West Indies and the Indian Premier League franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)’s wicketkeeper-batsman Nicholas Pooran has heaped praised Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni), saying that whenever Dhoni is on the field, the scene is worth watching.
The new West Indies limited overs captain Pooran shared a photo with Dhoni on his Instagram account and heaped praise for the former India captain and the 2011 World Cup winner.
Let us tell you that in the recent match between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad, CSK won by 13 runs. In the match, Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 99 runs in 57 balls for Chennai, while Devon Conway played an unbeaten inning 85 runs off 55 balls.
Captain MS Dhoni got out after scoring just 8 runs but as long as he was on the field, the enthusiasm of the audience was at the highest peak. Meanwhile, Hyderabad batsman Pooran has shared a picture with MS Dhoni on social media praising the CSK skipper.
After the match was over, Nicholas Pooran shared a post with MS Dhoni’s photo. In which, Nicholas Pooran wrote that when MS Dhoni is in the stadium, he creates a completely different atmosphere on the field and the love for him is amazing in everyone’s mind. He added that Pune went crazy for him and said that he will surely remember it forever.
“It’s electrifying when this guy is in the stadium, the love for him is unreal, Pune was on for him. Definitely one memory in my career I’ll always remember,” said Nicholas Pooran.
Nicholas Pooran has played 42 matches so far in the IPL in which he has scored 786 runs at a strike rate of 151.15 and an average of 26.2. He has also scored three half-centuries in the tournament. Pooran was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad in this year’s mega auction. Earlier, Pooran has been a part of Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings.
Talking more about Pooran, the left-hand batsman has been made the captain of the West Indies limited overs team after captain Kieron Pollard announced retirement from the International cricket.
