Indian cricket team’s young opening batsman Shubman Gill is one of the hottest prospect in the Indian cricket scenes at the moment as the batter is predicted to make it big in his career.
Shubman Gill rose to fame with his brilliant batting display in the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2018, being the leading run scorer of the tournament and guiding Team India to victory.
Gill then was picked by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL Auction. He had some good seasons with the team before he joined Gujarat Titans just ahead of IPL 2022 Mega Auction.
He played an instrumental role in guiding the team to the IPL Trophy in their debut season itself. He has to do the same in IPL 2023 as well if Gujarat wants to retain their title.
Gujarat Titans have got off to a good start in the tournament so far, having won 2 out of the first 2 matches. They next take on Gill’s former team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
And just before the clash with his former team, Shubman Gill has named his dream opening pair. Unsurprisingly, the opener picked veteran and legend Sachin Tendulkar as his dream opening pair.
