Pakistan cricket team is currently playing their 2nd and the last warm-up match against Afghanistan in the T20 World Cup 2022 before they take the field against the mighty Indian team on the 23rd of October.
Pakistan suffered a humiliating defeat in their 1st warm-up match against England as they lost the match by 6 wickets as England chased down 161 runs target in 14.4 overs.
And with just couple of days left for the big match against India, Pakistan has the last opportunity to figure out their best Playing XI and combination against Afghanistan in the 2nd warm-up match.
Pakistan fans are most excited about the return of pace Shaheen Afridi. The left-arm pacer sustained an injury prior to the World Cup and was in danger of missing the tournament. However he recovered in time and made to Australia.
His quality was absolutely in display in the warm-up match against Afghanistan as he bowled a toe crushing yorker to Afghanistan opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz who had no answer to that and was given LBW out. However, the impact of the Yorker was just so bad, Gurbaz had to be carried-off on his teammate’s shoulder.
Seeing that scene, Pakistan fans feels pretty happy and expressed their excitement on Twitter.

That was as mean a Yorker as youβll ever see from Shaheen Afridi, Gurbaz had to be carried off the field #SportsYaari

I was just imagining Rohit Sharma walking off with a broken toe when I saw Gurbaz limping off after that toe crushing yorker.

See that yorker and you will know Shaheen Afridi is almost back to being lethal. He is ready for Sunday. Gurbaz had to be carried out literally. #INDvsPAK @RevSportz
