There is a video relating to Shadab Khan that is going viral on social media recently where the Pakistan all-rounder and Islamabad United captain was heard clearly using abusive words after he was bowled in PSL 2023 match.
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 season has been a cracking season with some exciting round of cricket over the last couple of days.
On 7th of March 2023, Multan Sultans hosted Islamabad United in the match number 24 of the tournament where it was a high scoring match that ended in favour of the Islamabad side.
After batting first, Multan Sultans scored 205 runs with the important contributions from Shan Masood (75 runs 50 balls) Mohammad Rizwan (33 runs in 18 balls) and Tim David (60 runs in 27 balls).
Chasing the target, Islamabad United managed to chase down the target with 2 wickets remaining and 1 ball remaining. Rahmanullah Gurbaz first started off really well scoring 25 runs in 14 balls.
Colin Munro and Shadab Khan led the charge in the middle-order where both the batters scored 40 runs in 21 balls and 44 runs in 25 balls respectively. But it was actually the brilliant inning from Fahim Ashraf that sealed the match for his team.
Ashraf scored 51 runs in 25 balls with a strike rate of 196 to win the match. However, it is actually Islamabad captain Shadab Khan’s dismissal that is making the rounds.
After Shadab was bowled by Ihsanullah, the batter was so angry that he struck the bat in anger and used abusive word. However, after the match ended, Shadab made a social media post about his team’s win. Under that post, New Zealand all-rounder James Neesham replied why he shout Ben Stokes name when he was dismissed.
Neesham is fully aware of what that abusive word meant but it was hilarious behaviour that forced him to reply as of nothing happened. Now Shadab Khan has replied to Neesham. He hilariously said he missed Ben Stokes a lot.
