Mumbai Indians achieved their third consecutive victory of the season, indicating that the team led by Rohit Sharma has now discovered their winning form. Mumbai’s latest win against Hyderabad was notable for Arjun Tendulkar, who made his IPL debut in the previous game against Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium.

As Hyderabad needed 20 runs off the last over, skipper Rohit Sharma handed the ball to Arjun. The 23-year-old put in a fabulous performance, conceding just five off the last over and even dismissing Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the process. Seeing the team’s performance and Arjun’s heroics, Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to heap praise on their showing.

“A superb all-round performance by Mumbai Indians once again. Cameron Green impressed with both bat & ball. Ishan & Tilak’s batting is as good as it gets! The IPL is getting more interesting every day. Great going boys! And finally a Tendulkar has an IPL wicket,” Tendulkar tweeted.

After losing the coin toss, Mumbai Indians began their innings. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan played well at the top-order, accumulating 28 and 38 runs, respectively. However, the unbeaten innings of Cameron Green proved to be the turning point, as he scored 64 runs off 40 balls. Green’s partnership with Tilak Varma was crucial in enabling the five-time champions to post a big total of 192 runs on the board.
