On the morning of 30th December, a big accident happened with Rishabh Pant, the wicket-keeper batsman of the Indian team. He was coming back to his hometown in his car when his car collided with the divider and due to this he suffered a lot of injuries. Although Rishabh Pant is out of danger at this time.

Rishabh Pant was rushed to the hospital as soon as possible due to which his life was saved. He is currently admitted to Max Hospital in Dehradun and is undergoing treatment. According to a report in Times of India, after this incident, the Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant is looking very unlikely to play in the Australia series (Border-Gavaskar Trophy) and the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.

Rishabh Pant was admitted to a nearby hospital in Roorkee before being shifted to Max Hospital. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shared Rishabh Pant’s medical report which states that the cricketer has got two cuts on his head. There has also been an injury to the right knee and a lot of injury has also been seen on the right wrist, ankle, toe and back. The medical team of the board is constantly monitoring Pant.

Dr. Qamar Azam, who attended to the injured players at AIIMS Rishikesh, said about Rishabh Pant, ‘It will still take 3 to 6 months for Rishabh Pant to recover. It may take longer than this. All of you will be informed in advance for further information.”

According to the report on Cricbuzz, Pant will be shifted to Delhi or Mumbai for further treatment. He is in better shape now but it will take a long time for him to get back to full fitness. Pant’s coach Devendra Sharma is watching him closely and is telling the same thing to Pant’s family members.

If reports are to be believed, Pant was told by friends not to drive alone at night but the cricketer was confident that he would complete the journey from Delhi to Dehradun alone.
