According to various reports on the web, the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and their star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s relationship could cut short as there is a reported tussle between the two parties.
An exclusive report on the daily Times of India (TOI) claimed that star all-rounder for CSK and Team India, Ravindra Jadeja has no touch with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise and the that their relationship could short-lived and that Jadeja is looking to change team in the upcoming trading window before the IPL Auction.
Ravindra Jadeja is one of the most successful all-rounder in the history of the IPL and has won multiple Trophies with the Chennai based Chennai Super Kings franchise in his career. He has been a part of the CSK setup since the year 2012.
He is such a valuable asset for the CSK franchise that he was named the new CSK captain for the IPL 2022 season after MS Dhoni it was time for the future generation to lead. However, it wasn’t a fairly-tale storyline for Jadeja and CSK in the IPL 2022.
The yellow army lost their 6 of the opening 8 matches while Ravindra Jadeja was having his worst IPL season till date. Soon, it was announced that MS Dhoni has been reinstated as the captain of the team. And then, with days after the sacking, it was also announced that Jadeja suffered a rib injury and was ruled out for the remainder of the season.
Soon after that, a major controversy was sparked when CSK and Ravindra Jadeja unfollowed each other on social media. There were news of rift CSK management and Jadeja, however, team CEO Kasi Viswanathan confirmed that Jadeja will be staying with the team.
After that, things got calm, but suddenly today, an exclusive report on Times of India reads that there is no touch between CSK management and Jadeja and that Jadeja’s representatives have asked CSK to put Jadeja for trade. It must also be noted that Jadeja was retained for a hefty 16 crore before the IPL 2022 Mega Auction.
