Taking to his Twitter handle, Javed Afridi wrote: “The people of Sri Lanka love cricket as dearly as we Pakistanis do but the current not so good situation must’ve hurt Lankans cricket fans”. He also said that he will extend his full support to sponsor Srilankan Cricket in the best of his capacities to maintain their international status in world cricket. Sri Lanka will play a two match test series against Bangladesh starting from 15th May 2022.
