Australia is going to tour Pakistan after a long break of 24 years. Both teams will play three test matches, three ODIs and a one-off T20I match. This will be a historic event in the history of Pakistan cricket. That’s why it’s being called a historic series. Both cricket boards have announced their squads and are ready to face this challenge. The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced an elite panel of umpires and a referee who will cover the entire tour.
PCB has announced the experienced umpire Aleem Dar who is in ICC Elite panel and Ahsan Raza who is in PCB international panel to be the two umpires for the test series between Australia and Pakistan. On the other hand, Ranjan Madugalle will lead the control team, who is an ICC Chief Match Referee.
The PCB umpire for the years 2020 and 2021, Asif Yaqoob will be the third umpire in the first and third tests. And Rashid Riaz will going to play the role of third umpire role in the second test.
Muhammad Javed Malik will be the match referee for the white-ball series. And the PCB has chosen Aleem Dar, Ahsan Raza, Rashid Riaz, and Asif Yaqoob to be the umpires during the ODIs. And for the one-off T20I, Ahsan and Aleem will be the two on-field umpires.
