New Zealand star pacer Kyle Jamieson opts out of IPL 2022 Mega Auction

The world’s biggest T20 league Indian Premier League is back. The BCCI on Tuesday, has released a list of 590 players, who are ready to be sold in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction.

Out of the total 590 players, there are 228 capped players who have played International cricket for their respective country, and there are 355 uncapped players who are yet to represent their national team.

But, missing a name from the list is a well known and well established star bowler, who is not participating in this year auction, which has shocked the world. The bowler is known for his top class bowling and can also bat and could have been sold for huge money in the Mega Auction.

New Zealand’s deadly pace bowler Kyle Jamieson is not participating in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction this time around, whereas last time he was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore team for Rs 15 crore.

In IPL 2021, he played 9 matches for the Virat Kohli led team and took 9 wickets in those matches. During this, his economy rate was also 9.60.

Jamieson is known for his lethal bowling. He created all sorts of problems when Team India visited New Zealand the last time, showcases his true ability. Him not being in the Auction is really a big loss.

The star Kiwi pacer Jamieson has created havoc all over the world with his bowling skills. Kyle Jamieson has taken 60 wickets in 12 Test matches for the Kiwi team, has taken 5 wickets in 5 ODIs and has 8 wickets in 8 T20 matches to his name.

The whole world is convinced of his bowling. Being 6 feet 8 inches tall, he has got good release points and can also swing the ball. But, now that he is not in the Mega Auction, the fans will the Kiwi pacer’s magic in the IPL.

The BCCI has confirmed that the IPL Mega Auction will be held on February 12th and 13th. A total of 590 players names have been confirmed.

Out of the total of number of players, there are 228 capped players, while 355 players are uncapped. IPL 2022 is going to be very spectacular, because in IPL 2022, the league will once again be a 10 teams affair after 10 years. Lucknow and Ahmedabad are two new teams who have entered the league.
