Watch: "Not my habit to sledge someone upfront"- Naveen-ul-Haq accuses Virat Kohli for verbal spat took place in RCB-LSG game

Not too long ago, the world witnessed an ugly spat between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir, along with Naveen-ul-Haq. It happened when Royal Challengers Bangalore faced the Lucknow Super Giants at Ekana Stadium and won the game.

But after the win, there were some heated exchanges between Virat and Gambhir with Naveen. That heated altercation draws a lot of criticism from many former cricketers and cricket pundits. Some also urged the BCCI to ban the players who were involved in that.

The drama continued, though, and Virat Kohli and Naveen ul Haq’s cryptic Instagram tales continued to make headlines. The controversy over the subject was reignited after one of Naveen ul Haq’s comments during a segment on LSG TV.

Avesh Khan and Naveen took part in an LSG off-field segment. Naveen was questioned by Avesh Khan about his favorite on-field teasing incident. Your favorite cricket field sledge, performed by you or someone else, he asks. In reply, the Afghan pacer said, “I don’t sledge someone upfront, it’s not my habit.”

Notably, even after days of that heated on-field exchange, Virat and Naveen carried forward that heat through social media platforms. Most recently, Naveen posted a couple of Instagram stories after the Mumbai Indians beat RCB to take a sly dig at Virat and his team.

In response, the RCB skipper shared a video clip featuring famous American comedian Kevin Hart talking about not having grudges and moving on in life. Notably, both RCB and LSG are fighting to qualify for the playoffs. Lucknow is currently in fifth place with 11 points and three games to play.

They need to win all three matches to make it to the next game. It is the same story for RCB as well. They are currently ranked sixth with 10 points and need to win their remaining three games to qualify.
