More Headache for IPL as South Africa announces full strength squad

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season is set to be a mega event as the tournament returns to its original home and away format. However, the IPL 2023’s return to its old format has been overshadowed by the number of injuries and player unavailability. Now it seems South African players are also set to miss IPL 2023 matches.

Since after the COVID-19 pandemic breakdown, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has mostly been out of India or at a single neutral venue. Fans have been deprived of seeing their favourite players playing infront of them for their favourite team.

And after a long gap of 3 years, when things are looking really good for the fans return to see their favourite team play at their home ground, fans are excited for the tournament.

This is the continuation of the series between the teams which had to stopped midway after playing 1 match. There are still 2 matches to be played and it’s one of the most crucial series for South Africa since their ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Qualification depends on it.
