After the Lucknow Super Giants scored the winning run, Gautam Gambhir celebrated in the dressing room. He came out and shook hands with the Royal Challengers Bangalore players. Fans observed there was a stare from Gambhir when he came near Virat Kohli. After shaking hands, Gambhir gestured to silence the fans at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The match between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Lucknow Super Giants was one of the best matches of IPL 2023. After a lot of ups and downs, the match went down to the last ball, where LSG needed one run off one ball. They only had one wicket in hand, with Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi batting in the middle.

Harshal Patel was the bowler, and he attempted a run-out at the non-striker’s end but he missed the stumps on the first attempt. Patel dislodged the bails with a throw but the umpire ruled Ravi Bishnoi not out. Patel delivered the ball, and Avesh failed to connect it.

The ball went to wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik, who failed to collect it as well. Courtesy of the fumble, Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi stole a single as LSG completed a win.
